Barbara Ann Berniard Robinson was called home on September 1, 2023, at the age of 74. Barbara was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 23, 1949, to the late Robert John Berniard Sr. and Leonette Jeanne Burbank Berniard. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Robert John Berniard Sr. and Leonette Jeanne Burbank Berniard, sister, Bernadette Mary Berniard, brother, Gregory Joseph Berniard, daughter, Tracy Catherine Robinson Clark, nephews, DeLast Troy Francois Sr. and Albert John Berniard Sr., and grandson Alton Charles Williams.Barbara leaves to cherish her memory, two children, Alton Charles Robison Jr. (Nekita), Lawrence Michael Robinson Sr., brothers, Robert John Berniard Jr (Joyce), Noel Anthony Berniard Sr. (Wanda) sister, Joan Theresa Berniard and sister-in-law Rosalind Berniard, eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, close friend, Isabell Evans and a host of other relatives and friends.Barbara worked at New Orleans Louisiana public health hospital as a dietician. She went on to work at New Orleans Port of Embarkation. Barbara later managed Basin Street Lounge, then managed The Meeting Place Lounge, before opening her own establishment, Club Exquisite. Barbara was a very independent and stubborn individual who marched to the beat of her own drum. Barbara was a lover of New Orleans Saints football, doughnuts, playing cards and gambling in general. She also loved listening to music, watching home makeover shows, Family Feud and crime shows like Law and Order and Blue Bloods. Despite her strong will, Barbara loved spending time at her home and most of all, she loved her family.
